What Makes A Great Photographer?

It's the heart and thought that goes into every snap of a shot. It's the late nights and long weekends that you put into editing and perfecting each individual photo. It's the passion, care, and time you spend getting to know your client and learning what they desire, then turning their dreams into a reality.

I love what I do and I am always looking for the next adventure I take behind my lens! When you choose Tayfish Photography to capture your special moments you are choosing a devoted and invested soul who takes pride in capturing each memory perfectly!

I'm currently located in Columbia, SC where my husband is stationed but I am from the Smoky Mountains of East TN. I am available for photo shoots in the Smoky Mountain area by appointment only.

I consider myself a "light and airy" photographer! I love the look of a photo that is illuminating to the eye and draws the attention to the subject. I strive to incorporate as much natural light as possible in a frame without taking away from the depth of a shot. I love outdoor shoots, in a field of flowers while the sun glistens in the background.
